1975 USA Indoor Track and Field Championships

The 1975 USA Indoor Track and Field Championships were held at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. Organized by the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), the competition took place on February 28 and served as the national championships in indoor track and field for the United States.[1] The championships in combined track and field events were held at a different date.[2][3]

At the championships, Dwight Stones was expected to try for the 7 ft 6 in (2.28 m) world record in the high jump.[4]
