The 1961 Utah State Aggies football team represented the Utah State University as a member of the Skyline Conference during the 1961 NCAA University Division football season. Led by third-year head coach John Ralston, the Aggies compiled an overall record of 9–1–1 with a mark of 5–0–1 in conference play, sharing the Skyline title with Wyoming. Utah State was invited to the Gotham Bowl, where the Aggies lost to Baylor.
