bishop voy m bullen was named gereral over seer for the church of god of huntsville ala, proceeding the death of homer tomlinson. after the death of bishop bullen, danny patrick was named general over seer for the chuch of god [ huntsville alabama] and it was moved to [scottsvillle ky.] under the leadership of [danny patrick]with he pastoring the church there in scottsville ky. it is called the east willow st church of god in scottsville ky. it is said to have 200 members there at that church. bishop ted carr of oklahoma was field sec. for the church for many years. now he has chartered a new movement which is called [the church of god in divine order] located in sand springs oklahoma. bishop voy m bullen was general over seer for the church of god huntsville alabama in which the general assemblys were held in chaffee mo. with bishop dale mckennzie as hosting at the church in which he pastors there also. in 1995 the 89th annual general assembly was held on augs 7th though out augs 10th with voy bullen as general overseer. minutes can be obtained from scottsville alabama.

Could someone explain the differences between the Scottsville, KY Church of God and the Santa Fe, TX Church of God http://www.thechurchofgodusa.org ? At different times editors appear to have claimed each of these as the successor to the Huntsville, AL Church of God. Thanks. - Rlvaughn 02:24, 14 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

The Scottsville, KY headquaters came directly from the Huntsville, AL association after Bishop Bullen. I'm not familar with the TX association but at my last knowledge, the Scottsville, KY / Huntsville, AL association had no churches in Texas at all. Could be that the TX branch was upset at the appointment of Bishop Patrick and left at the same time. I know there were a few small churches that pulled out including Ted Carr.

I was raised in this group ( it should be noted I left ten years ago now, but still have friends assosiated with them) and to my knowlege there were never any churches in Tx at all. They could be an offshoot of Carr's assosiation in Sand Springs,Ok. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.8.19.92 (talk) 20:26, 10 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
