I agree that the animation could be made smoother, which would allow me to slow it down as a result. I shall do this. It is also drawn to scale, so adding a person would be good too. However, I do not think animating them would do anything more than complicate the issue and obscure what is really going on here. It is also meant to illustrate purely the loading, but I would like to improve the firing cycle, by having the guns actually elevate to the firing elevation and then fire, before returning to the loading elevation.
