I'm interested to try out AWB and see if it ups my wiki productivity (especially for pages I monitor or am actively editing). Thanks -Tiredmeliorist (talk) 21:19, 21 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Tiredmeliorist, how do you see yourself using AWB? (please do not ping on reply) Primefac (talk) 19:31, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well it seems like it helps make repetitive changes more effeciently, so I'm interested in using it to automatically make common fiexes, find and replace text, and otherwise streamline tedious tasks (particularly with pages I've made and/or are actively working on). I like the idea of custom scripts to fix less common errors that I am aware of quickly across multiple pages. (For example, in many of the Caribbean archaeology pages I monitor, there are outdated information, word choices, etc that could be more easily fixed all at once). Thanks, -Tiredmeliorist (talk) 13:32, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Wouldn't mind trying out the regex edit stuff in AWB. Thank you for your time. Slowking Man (talk) 19:18, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Slowking Man, what do you mean by "the regex edit stuff"? For what do you plan on using AWB? (please do not ping on reply) Primefac (talk) 19:31, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Looking forward to give AWB a try and see how it improves my productivity. Theshubhz (talk) 05:31, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Theshubhzm how do you see yourself using AWB? (please do not ping on reply) Primefac (talk) 14:31, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well, if you go through my Wikipedia contributions, my primary focus involves correcting typos and improving grammar in articles. I used to do this manually, but I've recently discovered that AWB (AutoWikiBrowser) is a more efficient tool for this task. Using AWB will increase my productivity and allow me to identify and correct issues on Wikipedia pages more quickly. Theshubhz (talk) 14:45, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
