  • Delete. Unlikely to be used in future due to transcluding articles having been deleted, and it's likely that an existing solution (such as {{Namco character}}) could be jury-rigged to work in its place. Chris Cunningham (not at work) - talk 21:34, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned template that has just been replaced by a new template due to the WikiProject's transition to a task force under WikiProject Video games. MuZemike (talk) 17:38, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Recently created, only used in two articles. DYK on the main page is one thing, but is this the sort of thing we should be adding to articles? It doesn't seem like the sort of thing that should be used in a serious, professional encyclopedia article. PC78 (talk) 16:48, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Aye, though it might make for a great idea for an opt-in user script kind of thing, as I think userscripts targeted at readers have a great amount of untapped potential. I'm fine with deletion. -- Ned Scott 03:43, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Amanda Bynes (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)

Consensus was determined quite some time ago that templates that only contain actor roles weren't acceptable per determination of WP:WikiProject Actors and Filmmakers. This template only appears on the Amanda Bynes article, which already contains the recommented filmography table. This template serves no navigation purpose that isn't already offered on the article page and is redundant. Wildhartlivie (talk) 12:20, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Strong delete as per above Mspraveen (talk) 14:55, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep Why delete this template? This template also appears on other Amanda Bynes' film article, such as Big Fat Liar or She's the Man. This template does serves an navigation purpose. Please check! Veeboy (talk) 04:56, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strong delete per established precedent. PC78 (talk) 14:45, 7 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strong delete per nom - doing so for all notable actors in films/TV programs, or even the "main" ones, would lead to horrible template clutter. –Black Falcon (Talk) 15:45, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strong delete per nom. Actor templates are generally frowned upon. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshellsOtter chirpsHELP) 19:25, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per nom. --Adoniscik(t, c) 05:44, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If this template ought to be deleted, why aren't templates like Template:FredandGinger or Template:Eleanor Powell deleted? I see no different between these and the Amanda Bynes Template. Veeboy (talk) 08:32, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Then put them up for deletion. Wikipedia's a collaborative piece. You can't expect Wildhartlivie to do all the housekeeping. Bazj (talk) 08:52, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Consensus was determined quite some time ago that templates that only contain actor roles weren't acceptable per determination of WP:WikiProject Actors and Filmmakers. This template only appears on the Ram Charan Teja article, which already contains the recommended filmography table. Further, the template contains one film, as does the filmography.
