The result of the debate was delete. However, move isn't really necessary. --WoohookittyWoohoo! 06:43, 18 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned template. All the job is done by {{Infobox Emmerdale character 2}}. After deletion we can rename {{Infobox Emmerdale character 2}} to {{Emmerdale character}}. Magioladitis (talk) 10:10, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the debate was speedy deletion due to a request by this template's only substantial author (CSD G7). Jesse Viviano (talk) 17:06, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This template is now only used on one article, Minsc. It duplicates the in-universe attributes available in {{infobox D&D character}}, which isn't necessary, because the D&D infobox is fully capable of being used for the article instead. Part of a general cleanout of category:general VG character subboxes in preparation for changes to the {{infobox VG character}} code. • Keep: Gah. Template is intended as in-universe parameter box for {{Infobox VG character}} for video game characters solely originating from a D&D setting game. Minsc just happens to be the only one fitting that description to currently have an article due to others failing WP:N. {{infobox D&D character}} is stand-alone, and clearly geared more towards characters in published related literature.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 08:34, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
There's nothing in {{infobox D&D character}} which makes it literature-specific. The existence of {{infobox VG character}} does not mean it needs to have sub-templates for every single possible permutation of game character when other infoboxen are more than capable of doing the job. This revision of the Minsc article indicates that the D&D infobox is fine here. Chris Cunningham (not at work) - talk 09:12, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete and use the "generic" D&D template instead. -- Magioladitis (talk) 10:12, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
