I was cleaning Babel templates on pl.wiki. I searched wiki's for proper code for Silesian language and I found: si, sil, sli and pl-sl on diffrent pages (mostly added by IP's). Those codes means:

When I changed wrong code si to pl-sl (same of language specialist (pol. językoznawców)) describe them as Silesia dialect) user user:LUCPOL asked me to revert my changes. I told him that si is code reserved for Sinhala. Then he changed all templates to sil code. When I showed him sil code on en.wiki he added Silesian to list of ISO 639:s codes and made templates and categories for Silesian language with sil (Sisaala) code. I reverted some his changes, but I can't delete wrong templates and categories. I plan to have a discussion on pl.wiki about code for silesian language. Wrong code (sil) on en.wiki may be an argument for wrong code on pl.wiki. PS. I added some categories in this TfD request becase they are part of those templates only so I ask for deletion of these categories as unused if templates go through. --Malarz pl 06:28, 17 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Template:American Idol runner-ups edit

Template:American Idol runner-ups (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

Well, firstly, it's runners-up. Two or three templates like this have already gone through templates for deletion in the past, and all have been deleted. The consensus was that this template is redundant and pretentious. See Wikipedia:Templates for deletion/Log/2006 July 17#Template:IdolRunnerUps. —7.souls 19:39, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

Template:Network Ten tag (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

These templates are not in use on any articles, and if they need to be used now, the image and text can just be copied off another article. J Ditalk 20:24, 17 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete but why not {{prod}}? --Roninbk 07:30, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
    • Technically speaking I don't think {{prod}}'s supposed to be used on templates; however, I'm not sure how much that rule is followed nowadays. --ais523 10:02, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
