Unused. Template:USPoliticalDivisions was the only article that included it directly. Template:USPoliticalDivisions has now subst'd it. Ergo, it is unnecessary. (See also the tfd immediately below this.)—Markles 13:22, 24 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Template:United States edit

Template:United States (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)
Unnecessary. It currently does nothing other than include Template:USPoliticalDivisions. Articles that use Template:United States should use Template:USPoliticalDivisions instead. It's clear what Template:USPoliticalDivisions is for, while the name Template:United States doesn't explain itself. Either delete it or merge it. It doesn't matter which one. Redirect to {{USPoliticalDivisions}} per Zzyzx11 and the nomination. Why transclude when you can simply redirect? After all, redirects are cheap, whereas transclusion, well, isn't nearly.
