Wikipedia:Historical archive/Imported pictures/Pictures from snp.org details

I am writing on behalf of a free online education project to see if we can get permission to use small images of SNP MPs and MSPs to illustrate articles on them.

The images would be of a maximum of 300 pixels wide. (we can convert).

Thank you for your help

Dear XXXX

I am in the process of gathering the images of parliamentarians in response to your request. However, the files size is too big to send by email. Can you please provide an address and I will pass these on CD to you by post.

regards

Grant

Thank you. The images would be for a web site and don't need to be print quality.

Can I also ask you under what license you are releasing them to us? Do people who use our content also have permission to use the photos? Are they released into the public domain or is your permission more restrictive?

Thanks again

If you only require low resolution pictures then I would suggest saving them off our website - each parliamentarian has a pop-up page with their respective photographs.

We have permission to extend their use where it is deemed to be of value to our campaigns. Under this I can give you permission to use these images for educational purposes provided that they are not used to misrepresent the SNP or the parliamentarian in any such manner.
