Property names
edit- Tuf Nut Historic Commercial District, in Little Rock, Arkansas, is listed in NRIS as being "Tuf Nut Historic Commericial District". Correction from "Commericial" to "Commercial" is needed. Typo noted by User:Davecrosby uk. doncram (talk) 21:12, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
- Plummer's Station and Sim's Hotel, in Conway County, are both listed in Plummerville (two m's), while Plumerville School Building is listed in Plumerville (one m), which appears to be the correct spelling. Lvklock (talk) 22:46, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
- Mellettown United Methodist Church, in Conway County, is listed in Mallet Town. I believe the church name should be Mallettown. Lvklock (talk) 22:46, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
- In Benton, Arkansas in Saline County, there are two places named Gann House and Gann Building (each with 2 N's), then a newer historic district listing named Gan Row Historic District which includes them (with Gan spelled having just 1 N). It seems likely that the historic district name should be Gann Row Historic District. These are:
- Gan Row Historic District, listed February 05, 1999, Bounded by Pine, Market, Maple and S. Main Sts., Benton
- Gann Building, October 21, 1975, located 218 S. Market St., Benton
- Gann House, listed January 02, 1976, located S. Market St., Benton
- Although this reasoning is not 100% sure, i am going to change the wikipedia name to Gann Row Historic District, pending confirmation from the National Register. If it should in fact be Gan Row, then there will be renaming/reversals to make in wikipedia. doncram (talk) 15:10, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

Jefferson-Crabtree HouseJefferies-Crabtree House in Claiborne is listed as "Jefferson-Craptree House". TheCatalyst31 Reaction•Creation 19:34, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
- While NRIS shows "Jefferson", the equivalent to an NRHP nomination form for this property, which in this case is a Clarendon Multiple Resource Area survey sheet of the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program, available at http://www.arkansaspreservation.com/National-Register-Listings/PDF/MO0051.nr.pdf shows "Jefferies". It is an NRIS data entry typo. This followup note added upon the error being mentioned at wt:NRHP. --doncram 01:55, 15 November 2016 (UTC)

edit- Eastern Star Lodge 207 F&AM near St. Francis is listed as being "Approx. 1.5 mi. W on Cty Rte. 336, then 0.5 S ib Cty Rte. 347" — "ib" is clearly a typo for "on" ["i" and "b" are next left of "o" and "n" on a normal keyboard, and "on" fits better in the context than any other word], so correct. Nyttend (talk) 04:10, 7 December 2009 (UTC)

- Lake Village Commercial Historic District, in Lake Village, Arkansas, with refnum 11000025 is listed in NRIS2013a as having architect OR builder = "Voelker, Herman; Simon, Louis A.". The first architect intended is Herbert Voelker, who designed the Chicot County Courthouse in the district. The NRHP document is the source for the error, stating incorrectly "Herman Voelker", without elaboration. Coverage in other sources, including the Encyclopedia of Arkansas article on Chicot County Courthouse and the NRHP document for Jack County Courthouse in Texas, extensively and exclusively use "Herbert". --Doncram (talk) 15:38, 30 April 2018 (UTC)
