- possible film poster claimed as 'self', user has history of altering images such as this, so no way to tell if this is the original or not (original anyone?) SkierRMH (talk) 03:57, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

Image:Iraqi Interview Of American POWs.jpg edit
- Fails WP:NFCC#1 (replaceability). I think that all US soldiers have their picture taken by the US Government, which would mean that public domain photos of all these soldiers could be found. Failing that, all of these soldiers are still living, so photos could still be taken of them. —Remember the dot (talk) 04:39, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

- Orphaned - there doesn't seem to be a corresponding article in which it could be used. If it's a screenshot, the GFDL license is suspect. Black Falcon (Talk) 06:40, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

Image:Warid logo.jpg edit
- This is the logo of Warid Telecom though editor who uploaded it claimed it as his own work. I strongly suggest him to change licensing information otherwise it will be a violation of copyright. Moreover, to keep this image on Wikipedia, he can add a Fair Use Rationale. Cheers! -- Niaz(Talk • Contribs) 09:33, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

Unused old images all created and uploaded by me under GFDL license. All are redundant, unused or superceded by proper vector graphics. I'm not even sure I have to ask for this but I'll do it and wait 5 days, then delete the bunch. Forgot this one: Image:F*uck!.png. Utterly unuseful. -- Sverdrup (talk) 15:55, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
- Deleted. It appears one of the images was both here and on commons, something I didn't notice before I deleted it here. No damage (what so ever) done. -- Sverdrup (talk) 01:39, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

- Fails WP:NFCC criterion 1. Images such as this one from Commons (already in use in the article) Image:National museum of China 2008 countdown clock.jpg can show exactly the same subject matter and be under a free lisence (I believe under freedom of panorama Guest9999 (talk) 17:20, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose. The editorial use of logos, to cover the subject of the logo, is a textbook case of fair use. The logo itself is not replaceable with a photo of the logo on a building. We don't replace good logos with photos that happen to include the logo. Rhobite (talk) 23:22, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
- Keep — there are hundreds, if not thousands, of logo images (tagged with
{{non-free logo}}
) for which fair-use is appropriate, so this is clearly a standard practice. Rhobite sums it up nicely. — Andrwsc (talk · contribs) 23:25, 21 March 2008 (UTC) - Keep. Per reasons above. Briefly, this is the logo. Other images containing it aren't. It would not make sense to switch. Jared (t) 12:43, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
- Keep. Image:National museum of China 2008 countdown clock.jpg will distort the logo and thus misrepresent the event it is trying to portray. Non-free logos are necessary in these cases. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 21:48, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

- Orphaned. I found it at Wikipedia:Images with missing articles/In the public domain by age, for which it clearly does not qualify (being a logo of a modern-day company). RFBailey (talk) 22:03, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
