Between ProtoDrake and myself, we've managed to get all of the existing articles related to the Final Fantasy XIII video game up to GA or FA (except for the second sequel, which has a completed PR instead as it won't be released in English for a few months). As such, we think it's good to go for GT, and to become the Square Enix wikiproject's third Final Fantasy topic after the FF8 FT and the FF12 GT. Soon after Lightning Returns is released in America we'll bump it up to GA (it's not far away now), and whenever enough albums are released (1+ years out) I'll make a GA music article for it, but for now the topic is as complete as it can be, and we think it's ready to be acknowledged. Thanks for reviewing! --PresN 20:09, 4 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

PresN and I have put a lot of hard work into these articles to make sure they are of the best quality possible at this current time. As stated above, Lightning Returns should not take much work to make a GA, and then an FA, when the time comes. And I am also sure that PresN will be able to create a music article for said game of his usual high quality when the time comes. I believe that these games, though there is certainly room for improvement, are ready to become a Good Topic. Thanks to all who helped make this possible, and those who will review this request, whatever the outcome. --ProtoDrake (talk) 21:21, 4 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose Simply put, I can think of no good reason not to wait another three months for the English release of the second sequel, so that you can get it up to GA status and get an article on the music up to GA status. Sven Manguard Wha? 00:22, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Additionally, the article on Lightning will also need updating to reflect the new game, and so as of right now the article is out of date. Obviously I'm not going to move for a delisting, but it does need to get fixed once the English language coverage comes in. Sven Manguard Wha? 18:25, 7 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Reluctant Oppose not only is Lightning returns pending, but we'll most likely see another article (music of lightning returns) after lightning returns becomes a GA.Lucia Black (talk) 14:08, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose while LR is only out in Japan, it's still enough to hold on and withdraw the nom for a latter attempt... igordebraga 17:21, 9 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I stumbled upon the 1960 Atlantic hurricane season article by chances this morning. After reading through the topic and discovering all articles associated with it were at least of good article quality, I decided to put this up for a good topic assessment. I have checked this topic for the good topic criteria, and I feel it meets all of them. This is my first good topic candidate. Now, more about the topic itself. The 1960 Atlantic hurricane season was fairly inactive, but "inactive" doesn't mean "not destructive" when talking about hurricane seasons. Despite a grand total of just seven storms, two of them attained Category 5 intensity, one of which, Donna, will be long remembered for the citizens of the Caribbean and the U.S. East Coast.

If anyone has comments on this topic, please feel free to leave them below. I will do whatever it takes to promote this topic to GT status. I apologize if I have done something wrong, as again, this is my first good topic candidate.

Thank you,

Hello AndrewPeterT, I am another member of the WikiProject Tropical Cyclones. Back in June when I got the 1960 Atlantic hurricane season to GA, I too realized that this was now eligible to be a Good Topic. However, we were hesitant about it because of the condition of Hurricane Donna. Don't worry about Donna though, we will fix it. I added myself and three other users involved in this as contributors. Regards,--12george1 (talk) 15:44, 2 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
On second thought, I am gonna be unable to fix Donna and it will probably be safe to say that the other users won't either. Therefore, I am withdraw my position as co-nom and opposing the 1960 AHS for GT.--12george1 (talk) 03:39, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

So this nomination has been around for nearly two months and there has been one oppose due to ones articles current status. Not entirely sure if that's grounds to fail this. GamerPro64 21:48, 1 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This has been a multi-year effort to bring the people of Bungie, creator of the Halo series, to be a Good Topic. I am merely the nominator, the true builders of these articles are the members of Wikiproject Halo, and they should be applauded. I believe the topic is complete as all notable people are listed here and are Good Article quality. Their company website is also notable and has also been included.Judgesurreal777 (talk) 19:42, 30 March (UTC)

I created one, now I'll see if we can get it to FL in a timely fashion. I'll let you know. Judgesurreal777 (talk) 00:30, 3 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, given most of Template:Bungie is comprised of the studio's games, the topic feels empty with only people and a website. Hope List of Bungie video games gets to Featured status soon. igordebraga 04:43, 4 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I don't want to speak out of turn, but it seems like everyone is either on vacation, busy, or working in something else. So, it's probably best to close this, and I'll launch it again once we have the list featured. Thanks for the reviews and the patience! Judgesurreal777 (talk) 20:44, 20 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Close with no consensus to promote. - GamerPro64 20:51, 20 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose - as a Man of Kent myself it pains me to say this, but in no way is this a complete topic. You have the article on the county, articles on a random couple of the hundreds of settlements in the county, and the article on one random sports venue out of the dozens in the county. While all four have a vague common link, that's unfortunately not how FTs work..... -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 18:28, 13 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
