Wawadit'la(Mungo Martin House) a Kwakwaka'wakw big house edit

This is a very high detail image of a historic building. At 10000x7000 pixels this is a 70 mega-pixel image. Visible are the tools marks in the hand made totem and wall and the nail holes in the doors hinges. In the background other totems can be seen in great detail. I think this meets all the requirements of a featured picture. Single Photograph Account 17:33, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Proposed caption

  • Oppose - The colors don't look natural and the shadows are distracting and probably avoidable. To me it looks like a poorly tone mapped HDR image (and the conditions don't really justify HDR). And just because you can upload a 20MB photo doesn't mean that you should. I think the photo would be much better without all the digital trickery. Cacophony 18:14, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose The tree casting that shadow would be more useful for this picture if it were carved into a totem pole. Until then, oppose.--Puddyglum 18:27, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
