  • Support adequate EV, clear photo, good size. Pinetalk 07:27, 27 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weak Support Moderate quality, clear and decent size. Jamesrules90 (talk) 16:35, 28 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose -- Aesthetics is also important here and I find that the portrait aspect ratio and the tight crop ruin the picture. Alvesgaspar (talk) 20:43, 28 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weak support. I'd go for a wider crop too, if you have one, Muhammad. Chick Bowen 03:19, 29 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support pref. edit. Fix the white balance please (it is too blue). You probably only have to aim for 1/250th with a slowly moving subject like this and image stabilization. You could probably manage lower for still subjects, so ISO 1600 isn't needed in my view. Wider crop would be preferable if you have it. JJ Harrison (talk) 23:35, 30 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
    • Thanks for the tip. What I noticed though from a series of shots I took of this bird, only one or two came out sharp the others had motion blur as the bird was moving around. Putting up an edit in a while --Muhammad(talk) 00:42, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
      • You haven't bumped the switch to mode 2 have you? At any rate just take lots of shots, assuming your card is big enough. ISO 800 might be a good compromise. JJ Harrison (talk) 09:38, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
        • No the lens was on mode 1. Unfortunately, the bird moved away and mixed in with some impalas pretty quickly. --Muhammad(talk) 11:51, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weak oppose: A little blue, a little close on the cropping. Crisco 1492 (talk) 10:56, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Edit 1 Uploaded The colors are warmer and I applied some fake space for wider looking crop --Muhammad(talk) 12:17, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose both The lighting doesn't seem featurable to me. I'd prefer some direct sunlight and brighter warmer colours. --99of9 (talk) 12:25, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support both but prefer original. Quite possibly there are minor problems with colour and crop, but it's an excellent photo. What a funny looking bird! TehGrauniad (talk) 22:43, 3 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment According to my count this is currently short by 0.5support. I'd be grateful if we can give Chick time to comment on the edit --Muhammad(talk) 07:43, 4 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
