Weak Oppose. The adult image is superior and it seems a bit cheeky to nom both of them right next to each other. If it were to pass, I'd hope that Howcheng'd mix them up a bit so we didn't have the same bird on the POTD two days in a row. ;-) But as above, feet are conspicuously absent unfortunately. Comment; I think that the date when the photograph was taken should be included in the image description. The camera metadata says; "28 February 2008" - is that correct? Going on your previous submitted images, I think that any discrepancy between dates should be explained in the image description, prior to any possible promotion. Comment: Often with birds there are only adults around to photograph, so a picture of a juvenile will complement the picture of the adult. It would have been a good to see both the adult and the juvenile in the same photograph, if the juvenile is not independent at this age. I wonder where the parents are?
