NDS (filter log) (user filter log)
Description
I was reorganizing NDS into sections, as the disambig page is currently not sectioned nor is it alphasorted. Obviously there is no lead section on a disambig page, the entire page is not an intro section

Done and a change to the filter may be needed. The anon may he right that disambiguation pages should be excluded from this filter. Animal lover |666| 05:39, 14 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Probably easiest to do this by checking for {{Disambiguation. Nobody (talk) 05:13, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There are multiple disambiguation notice templates, and redirects to them. ie. {{letter–number combination disambiguation}} / {{numberdis}} / {{geodis}} / {{Dab}} / {{disambig}} / ... shown at Category:Disambiguation message boxes -- 64.229.88.34 (talk) 07:41, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It may make the most sense, from the benefit/cost prospective, to list the more common ones and ignore the less common ones. Animal lover |666| 07:45, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think it's possible to search for hidden cats so looking for Category:All article disambiguation pages should work. Nobody (talk) 08:00, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not necessarily sure which path to take for this one, and I more find myself trying to figure out what amount of false positives results from this. A cat-search would be a fair enough compromise, though this will take time as I'm a bit busy at the moment, unless someone has code ready to go. EggRoll97 (talk) 15:51, 29 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done though a change to the filter may be needed. Edit had MOS issues. But is a false positive. Nobody (talk) 09:08, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Could you please be a bit more specific so that I can change/correct the content? Thanks! Salperwy (talk) 14:53, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Salperwy I see you already moved the reference out of the section heading, which was the most obvious issue. Next is that the references are always after the punctuation (. or , or :). As for your list of parameters. I'm not sure it is DUE, but even if it is, it needs to be sourced and could need some wikilinks. Nobody (talk) 16:25, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the advice. I tried again but I still got it rejected. I need more references? Salperwy (talk) 12:53, 28 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
(pin removed by EggRoll97 (talk) 15:57, 29 August 2024 (UTC)) So someone can look at the filter and a third opinion if that edit should be made. Nobody (talk) 13:08, 28 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Declining because this isn't necessarily a false positive either. It is a false positive in the instance of the filter not working as it should have, but disallowing the edit is still good here, given another editor has already reverted similar changes that the user was able to actually get past the filter. The filer needs to discuss on the article talk page. EggRoll97 (talk) 15:57, 29 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
