Question from Mascuud cali on User:MustafaO (18:43, 6 May 2024)

MustafaO he laying don’t trust him --Mascuud cali (talk) 18:43, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I don't get what your question is. --SHB2000 (talk) 22:03, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Question from Astraflorix (10:49, 18 May 2024)

Hello! Firstly, thank you SO much for being my mentor :) Secondly, I have a few questions for you (I am sorry if they're weird) - I am twelve years old. Am I still allowed to edit Wikipedia? I am asking because there is usually an age limit on some websites. - How do you get those things that say "this user is ___" on your profile? :0

Thank you, I hope you have a good day :) --Astraflorix (talk) 10:49, 18 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi, Astraflorix, since the WMF does not collect personal data about you, you can be of any age to edit! However, you may want to have a look at WP:YOUNG. I'm not entirely sure by what you mean "this user is ___", but I presume you are talking about userboxes – Wikipedia:Userboxes has a collection of them, but do let me know if you need any help with that.
Cheers for the kind words :-). --SHB2000 (talk) 10:54, 18 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you! :D Astraflorix (talk) 22:37, 18 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Question from Madenge Nyerere (20:58, 26 May 2024)

Hi! When will my articles start showing and stop being in draft? --Madenge Nyerere (talk) 20:58, 26 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Madenge Nyerere: You'll need to submit them for review for them to be in mainspace through WP:AfC. --SHB2000 (talk) 21:25, 26 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Question from Madenge Nyerere (04:03, 28 May 2024)

Hi again. let say i have been writing articles in other languages, and now i want to translate them to english Language. is it advisable to start as a draft article or? --Madenge Nyerere (talk) 04:03, 28 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Madenge Nyerere: In most cases, yes. Once you become extended confirmed, you will be able to use Special:ContentTranslation, but until then, you will need to manually translate them. Since different wikis have different policies and criteria on what's determined to be notable, it is advisable to create a draft. Make sure you provide appropriate attribution as this is legally required – hope WP:TRANSLATE gives some some good advice. Let me know if you need any further assistance! --SHB2000 (talk) 09:49, 28 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Origin Send off Minute it happened

On the nrl website, says Sua'ali'i was sent off in the 7th minute. https://www.nrl.com/draw/state-of-origin/2024/game-1/blues-v-maroons/ MaskedSinger (talk) 13:21, 5 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Interesting – 9 Now (live) and the Sydney Morning Herald both claim 8, which I think is more accurate as it happened at 7' 25" (which is the eighth minute). --SHB2000 (talk) 13:24, 5 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Ok cool. Thanks for being on top of it! MaskedSinger (talk) 13:26, 5 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Not a problem! --SHB2000 (talk) 13:27, 5 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Question from Sr1273 (01:11, 14 July 2024)

Hi,

I am trying to edit and then submit an article about a living person Sammi Cannold. Would you please suggest what else I need to input in the article in order to make it noteworthy.

Thank you! --Sr1273 (talk) 01:11, 14 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi, a person isn't noteworthy because the article makes them noteworthy, but only if they pass WP:N. --SHB2000 (talk) 04:27, 14 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

edit reverted on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikola_Ivanov

my edit seems to have been reverted on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikola_Ivanov concerning his name. i checked the bulgarian wikipedia and it said his name was Nikola Ivanov Ivanov (bulgarian names have a patronymic)

Hi, Cheesypenguigi, in that case, feel free to revert my edit – however, in the case of a WP:BLP, please provide a reliable source (cannot be bgwiki). --SHB2000 (talk) 01:35, 26 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
i found a good source (http://1333.bg/persons/bg/image/437/) and have edited the article. thanks Cheesypenguigi (talk) 13:25, 26 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you – glad we could resolve this. --SHB2000 (talk) 14:09, 26 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
