Notelist edit

Hi JJJ. Try open Ahn Sang-hong in edit mode. A {{notelist}} is present under a level-3 heading, and ARA will suggest "missing notelistfix". Fixing adds a second {{notelist}}, breaking the heading markup. Thanks for keeping the script updated. Sam Sailor 11:10, 15 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

@TheJJJunk: On Santiago Bustos, ARA suggested to add a notelist without notes. Why? ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿค๐Ÿฏ๐Ÿบ๐ช๐‘ค๐’†๐“‡๐Ÿท๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿœ๐“บ๐”ด๐•–๐–—๐Ÿฐ (๐—๐—ฎ๐˜ญ๐™ ) 17:26, 6 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
@1234qwer1234qwer4: I believe the script improperly recognized the lower-alpha in {{Reflist|group=lower-alpha}} as a note. โ€” TheJJJunk (say hello) 22:41, 8 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
TheJJJunk, any chance you can fix this?
@1234qwer1234qwer4: I could fix it. Not sure when I can get some time to do so, however. โ€” TheJJJunk (say hello) 22:51, 9 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Occasional freezing edit

Hi JJJ.

ARA.js will occasionally freeze. I tried to blank my common.js, vector.js and global.js and only run ARA, and still, it happens. When I insert a citation in <ref>...</ref> tags, *bamm* it halts. The console says:

Error: Script terminated by timeout at: index.php:805:17
getARARules/<@https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User%3ATheJJJunk%2FARA.js&action=raw&ctype=text/javascript:805:17

This only happen occasionally. I have tried to think about if the pages on which it happens have anything in common, but I see no pattern. Still it is a great tool, thank you once again. Hope you are well. Sam Sailor 16:30, 6 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Don't "fix" reference positions in template parameters edit

On Anse La Raye, ARA suggested to "fix" the reference position of two ref tags in infobox parameters, which is obviously incorrect.

"url scheme error" edit

@TheJJJunk: Why are ftp:// links a "url scheme error"? The "fix" by prepending an additional "http://" does not make sense either.

"empty citations" edit

The suggestion at Time-resolved mass spectrometry just seems to duplicate the page. ~~~~

removed extra whitespace in citation ( url=) only edit

@TheJJJunk: this diff only "removed extra whitespace in citation ( url=)" in Cite web code copy pasted from Butyrivibrio proteoclasticus is this intentional? <_> jindam, vani (talk) 06:50, 30 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

False positive with section names edit

On List of WHO fungal priority pathogens it says:

<>4 suggestions: unnecessary reference groups (= *''[[Cryptococcus)fix unnecessary reference groups (= *''[[Nakaseomyces)fix extra whitespace in citation ( url=)fix unnecessary reference groups (= *''[[Scedosporium]]'')fix

There are no reference groups, only sections with โ€œgroupโ€ in the name. The script thus has a false positive. awkwafaba (๐Ÿ“ฅ) 16:09, 28 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
