European University

edit

Hello, I have noticed that you have incorrectly shared information about the EU ranking in Switzerland - it is not correct to claim that the institution ranks No 3 in Switzerland as the EU appears in the ranking with its campus in Spain. Therefore, it cannot be claimed that the Swiss campus ranks 3rd in Switzerland. Please refer to the QS Global 200 Business Schools Report for information (see section "Country" where EU is listed with its campus in Spain). Thank you for taking a note of this.––Denitsa.marinova — Preceding undated comment added 08:57, 6 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello Denitsa.marinova

Thanks for getting in touch with me. I actually have a different opinion on the source provided, the source states European University (Barcelona, Geneva, Munich) not European University Barcelona and therefore includes the 3 campus as one general identity (you will notice that Montreux isn't on the list meaning it isn't part of the ranking). They had to pick one country to fill in the country column and chose Spain the same way they could have chosen Switzerland or Germany. You also stated that European University was ranked 34th when it actually is 33rd (please check out the source correctly before reverting pages). In the meantime, looking at the contributions you made, it clearly appears that you are personally related to Business School Lausanne and therefore not objective on this question.I remain available for further explanations if needed. Sincerely, Robertschwarz (talk) 09:31, 6 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello Robertschwarz, It would be good if you have a source that can be accessed directly for viewing for the EU Ranking in Switzerland. The current source only provides a downloadable report list for registered members. And just for the record, the source for the ranking at 33rd placing at "QS Global 200 Business Schools Report 2013/2014 Top MBA, indicates 4 campuses - European University (Barcelona, Geneva, Montreux, Munich). Hello Audit Guy. Thank you for this message, I actually tried and finding a direct-access source but couldn't. I believe the website is trying its best to gather personal informations (and monetize it probably ;) ). Thanks for highlighting the fact that all 4 campuses are actually stated rather than one! Have a great evening, sincerely Robertschwarz (talk) 18:26, 19 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
