The never ending 75th Ranger/JSOC nonsense

edit

There's a new (or maybe old) IP at the JSOC article doing the same old song and dance about the 75th being part of JSOC. I'm just too irritated by it to deal with it now in a totally civil manner and my frustration with the facile yet belligerent understanding of this topic by some makes it hard for me to engage with them constructively. I was thinking of taking it up with MILHIST, maybe they can explain it in a really slow, deliberate manner that would allow this IP editor to understand. I'd take it up at WP:3O but those unfamiliar with US military organization might simply serve to further muddy the waters. If you'd look at it I'd really, really appreciate it, if not I totally understand. It's incredibly old. TomPointTwo (talk) 04:54, 5 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
