July 2012 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page PlayPhone has been reverted.
Your edit here to PlayPhone was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://facebook.com/playphonegames) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 02:22, 19 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. I saw your changes to PlayPhone, and I noticed that the username you have chosen, "Playphonecs", seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of a group, company or website. Please note that Wikipedia does not allow usernames that are promotional or shared by multiple people. Please take a moment to create a new account or request a username change that represents only yourself as an individual. You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and remember that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you.  TheArguer  SAY HI! 02:54, 19 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, as you did with this edit to PlayPhone. IronGargoyle (talk) 02:56, 19 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Seeking Help edit

Resolving a dispute: When is it considered resolved? There is an individual that contested the POV on a page and it states that the disupute needs to be resolved. This was posted back in Dec. 2010. I responded recently, but am uncertain on what are the next steps. Thanks. LizAtPlayPhone (talk) 18:51, 20 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

It really depends on how many people are willing to comment on the discussion (or are even aware of it). It seems that the person that started the discussion was just complaining at an inappropriate venue. If I were you, I would have ignored it.Floating Boat (the editor formerly known as AndieM) 19:06, 20 July 2012 (UTC) (edit at 19:11, 20 July 2012 (UTC))Reply

Re: Adoption edit

Hi LizAtPlayPhone. I've removed the "request for adoption" from your userpage because you've not edited recently. Given the number of users starting on the encyclopedia each day and the number who look for adoption, there can often be a backlog when just displaying the request. You are much more likely to find an adopter if you are pro-active about it, perhaps asking an editor or two from the list of adopters if they would consider adopting you? Good luck in finding someone to help out. WormTT(talk) 09:50, 19 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
