Infoboxes

edit

You asked me about adding infoboxes to articles. I suppose that you have in mind articles about Croatian counties? I did planed to add infoboxes to all county articles, but I do not have to do this at the present moment, so, perhaps if I find time, I could do it in the future. Regarding infoboxes, I did not created that infobox, but I simply took the existing infobox from one county article that had it and posted it into few more. I think that most important thing is to post any infoboxes into all articles and then it is easy to replace these infoboxes with better ones. I really do not have time now to translate infoboxes from German Wikipedia, you can translate them if you want and post into articles that do not have infoboxes. No, yep. You understood me wrong. Right, I'll create a new "Template" for the cities etc. as in the German Wikipedia. Please do not add the exitsting Infoboxes to articles, since it will not be necessary. It is much easier to change templates. You'll se... --Maestral 16:53, 23 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

location maps

edit

Would you consider dual licensing your edits to {{location map}} and related template under the cc-by 2.5? This way I could use them on the english wikinews. Bawolff 00:46, 30 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Of course. Where and what? Thought I'd already done that. :) --Maestral 14:30, 31 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your move

edit

No, the correct title is "parliamentary election", in the singular -- all elections which are for a single parliament are named in the singular. —Nightstallion 23:50, 27 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Request to move article Srbica incomplete

edit

You recently filed a request at Wikipedia:Requested moves to move the page Srbica to a different title - however your proposal is either incomplete or has been contested as being controversial. As a result, it has been moved to the incomplete and contested proposals section. Requests that remain incomplete after five days will be removed.

Please make sure you have completed all three of the following:

  1. Added {{move|NewName}} at the top of the talk page of the page you want moved, replacing "NewName" with the new name for the article. This creates the required template for you there.
  2. Added {{subst:RMtalk|NewName|reason for move}} to the bottom of the talk page of the page you want to be moved, to automatically create a discussion section there.
  3. Added {{subst:RMlink|PageName|NewName|reason for move}} to the top of today's section here.

If you need any further guidance, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Requested moves or contact me on my talk page. - JPG-GR (talk) 23:57, 1 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Budim or Budin

edit

Hi, you have created the redirect article Budim (of 2006). Can you please check your sources ? I far as I know, theOttoman name of Buda was Budin with n and not Budim with m. Happy editting. Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 08:25, 22 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Budim is still the Croatian name for this place. The city of Budapest is called "Budimpešta" in Croatian. --Maestral (talk) 14:22, 25 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference

edit

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being minor in the usual way.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. With the script in place, you can continue with this functionality indefinitely (its use is governed by WP:MINOR). If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 19:15, 15 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
