Changes

Hey, the changes were made to make the page represent a different individual who is more prominent than the cricketer. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rtrhardik (talkcontribs) 11:37, 21 September 2014 (UTC)

KraVen (entertainer)

Hi- I wanted to kind of give you a bit of a warning on the page KraVen (entertainer). The problem is that this person has already been through AfD and the page has been speedied multiple times. I don't see where any of the current sources solve any of the problems brought up at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lord KraVen. The main problem with the AfD is that the article creator kinda overinflated a LOT of the claims, used a LOT of trivial sources, and ultimately it was decided that he was pretty solidly non-notable. I'm going to tag it for speedy, but even if it's declined and run through AfD I'm pretty certain that this one will be deleted as well. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 04:41, 27 September 2014 (UTC)

  • The guy's also tried to get around the AfD a few times as well and him trying to create the page under "KraVen (entertainer)" kind of shows this- he was banking on you not seeing that the guy's article had run through AfD and been speedied a ton of times to the point where it had to be protected against re-creation. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 04:42, 27 September 2014 (UTC)

A kitten for you!

Thank you! The Peter Barr page has been a project for a while now, your help is greatly appreciated.

Speedy deletion tag removal warning

I was wondering why you warned DGG about removing a speedy deletion tag from Draft:Josh Stanley? DGG did not create that page but the warning you left told DGG not to remove speedy deletion tags from pages they created. The page is not nonsense according to the definition at WP:G1 and the removal was appropriate. GB fan 14:02, 28 September 2014 (UTC)

speedy

Draft:Josh Stanley is not nonsense. It contains one perfectly clear English sentence, and a number of urls. If it were in article space, it wouldn't even be A3, no content. . The speedy criteria are meant to be taken literally and narrowly. (This is especially so because there wa copyvio content that was removed; the user needs a chance to write the article.) DGG ( talk ) 13:31, 28 September 2014 (UTC)

Please learn the rules. You can't reinstate a removed speedy tag once someone other than the original editor has removed it. You were reverted by another administrator. DGG ( talk ) 13:52, 28 September 2014 (UTC)
(edit conflict) Indeed. And you might also want to remove the notice from DGG's talk page since they are not the original author of that draft and were thus fully entitled to remove the CSD tag. De728631 (talk) 14:04, 28 September 2014 (UTC)

14:02:49, 29 September 2014 review of submission by Cristina Voinea Andreea

Cristina Voinea Andreea (talk) 14:02, 29 September 2014 (UTC)

Cristina Voinea Andreea (talk) 14:02, 29 September 2014 (UTC) Hello. What does it mean precisely that the content of this submission includes material that does not meet Wikipedia's minimum standard for inline citations? I have been adding and removing references, but it is still not clear to me why the references I gave are not reliable, as they are articles in newspapers from Romania, ISI academic articles and editorials in magazines. Also, I would like to ask why should I cite my sources using footnotes. Another editor told me that all inline links must be removed, and turned into references if appropriate, Wikilinks, or external links in a section so named. I have done this (keep in mind that I am new on Wikipedia and I do not understand everything) and this is why all my citations are organized in the References section. What is the difference between footnotes and references? I hope I did not ask stupid questions. Cristina Voinea Andreea (talk) 14:02, 29 September 2014 (UTC)

15:08:18, 29 September 2014 review of submission by Coffeehour55

Hello Mjs1991. Thank you for reviewing my article on Dr. Sharon D. Welch. Just for purposes of clarity, what exactly should be edited so that the article will be accepted by wikipedia? Thank you for your help!

Question on Edit

Hello Marcus, Thank you for reviewing my article on Antonio Abrahao Caram. Can you please clarify exactly what component(s) is(are) missing from the sources that are currently referenced on the page? Thanks in advance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Acaramne (talkcontribs) 15:34, 29 September 2014 (UTC)

Dezső Révai (alias Turai)

The reason you gave for declining this article is not correct. It is not a BLP, and therefore does not require inline citations. As the article clearly says , he died in 1996. You are of course welcome to challenge it at AFD, but I think that it will pass, because of the Nationalgalarie book about him. DGG ( talk ) 01:33, 30 September 2014 (UTC)

Hudson Shakespeare Company

The is a discussion for an article, Hudson Shakespeare Company, you recently promoted for publication. at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hudson Shakespeare Company.Djflem (talk) 18:24, 29 September 2014 (UTC)

It was my AfD nomination. I looked again, and decided to withdraw it. DGG ( talk ) 01:36, 30 September 2014 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Jens Ludvig Andersen Aars may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s and 1 "{}"s likely mistaking one for another. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Request on 01:58:51, 1 October 2014 for assistance on AfC submission by F.parry

Hi, Our article for submission has been declined, the reason given was that it was not adequately sourced. I just wanted to clarify which part of our submission is not adequately sourced - images, general copy etc etc. Are you able to give us more direct feedback on what we need to remedy?

thank you (F.parry (talk) 01:58, 1 October 2014 (UTC))

A word of encouragement...

Hi Marcus, I see that you haven't bothered answering the question I left here on how to make my proposed article better. This left me thinking how much fun you have on criticizing and editing others, while not having the basic courtesy of explaining yourself, and when your own page shows that you don't know the difference between a nectarine and a nectrine (sic). Edit away, my dear Wikipedia patrolman. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Acaramne (talkcontribs) 18:06, 2 October 2014 (UTC)
