Hong Kong Invention Association Ltd

Hong Kong Invention Association Ltd (HKIA)is a nonprofit organization that has started in 1996. The association was founded by Mr. Farag Moussa, which is currently the Chairman of the International Federation of Inventors Associations, Switzerland(IFIA). The organization is based on volunteer contribution and donation among the members and many others.

Their goal is to promote and encourage new innovative invention by Hong Kong citizens while protecting their rights. Despise lack of Hong Kong government's support in strengthening Hong Kong's invention industry, the organization has worked to create a path for these inventors to become more successful in promoting their creation to the public and to different enterprises that are interested. They also provide varies services such as the followings( several important service):

1) Organize with enterprise to showcase member's creation, as a way to promote their inventions to the public 2) Provide accrete resources and guidance 3) organize activities for members to participle such as international seminar and invite experts to give advices to the members. 4) Encourage government support by submitting proposals that can benefit the creative invention in the Hong Kong society
