Ways to improve Alfred Brooks (dance)

The title of this page refers to a man's name Alfred Brooks, as that this is a common name and wikipedia has many other people with the same name it specified his profession (dance) as well, which is common on wikipedia. I have left you further comments on your talk page. Please do not flag everything for deletion because you are confused or disagree, as that is not proper procedure on this site. If you have an issue with citation and think it needs more than three citations for a basic stub article then feel free to add them please. My citation are from a published newspaper, and are in proper form. Otherwise you are just making more work for other people and it is considered rude. I am removing the incorrect tag you placed on this stating this is a BLP, seeing that this person is dead. Jooojay (talk) 17:31, 1 July 2014 (UTC)

Hi Justlettersandnumbers, I am sorry I am a little confused? You are accusing me of copy and pasting from a significantly smaller article with less detail, adding me to a potential ban/blocked list in the future for editing and deleting the whole article to make an "example of the situation"? But I can fix the article in a special editing space (which you mention has been fixed already) but otherwise it will be deleted? Please explain further because I am confused. Hi, Jooojay! I'm sorry to have confused you. Put simply, it is not OK to copy material from other websites and paste it into Wikipedia. That seems to be what you did at Robert Boardman Howard, where I've posted on the talk page an example of what I see as the problem. To my chagrin I find that you also seem to have done the same at Adaline Kent - content copied from the same website - and I have now blanked that also and listed it for processing at WP:CP (but I'm not putting another space-consuming template here). I don't think the articles are at any risk of deletion. You can work on a new copyvio-free version by following the link above, or wait a few days until they've been cleaned up and then go from there. If you do decide to work on a rewrite please do not copy-paste any of the old text into the new version. And, please, from now on ... respect our copyright policies! I think this is a pretty unfair characterization of what's occurred here, the tone, and wording is totally inappropriate for talking to another contributing member of this community, is condescending, and not helpful. I'm not sure what your goal here is, but when I see community members relying on templates and bots to mediate their actions rather than interacting in real ways with each other I have serious concerns about the health of this community. I want to see teaching and mentorship. Good mentors don't threaten, berate or belittle "To my chagrin I find that you also seem to have done the same at Adaline Kent - content copied from the same website" this tone and language is unacceptable. I am putting this here because it seems that you may not fully have understood how your actions affect the health of the community, and its ability to attract new member.
