"obvious" content edit

People apply the "It's obvious!" argument to content, too. "Obvious" things, in their view, aren't required to comply with our basic verifiability policy. See User:Uncle G/On sources and content#There are no exceptions to everything for discussion of this, and the actual deleterious effect that it has on the encyclopaedia. Quotation marks edit
