Hi Fletcher,

I am also in Massachusetts and like your photos quite a lot, one thing I really appreciate is how you captured the light on the old houses.

I'm making a series of short educational videos about climate change and I'd like to use your photo of the Salem power plant in a video for the Harvard University Center for the Environment. The current appearance of the power plant has changed so therefore I wanted to use your photo of the plant as it was.

Unfortunately, I don't control the copyright on the final distribution, so I can't guarantee that it will be under CC-BY-SA. Therefore, I'm requesting your permission for this one time use in a non-profit educational video that will be distributed at no cost from the Harvard University website.

HEre is a link to the photo:

You can go ahead and use it for the video. Fletcher (talk) 22:59, 18 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Survey Invite

edit

I'm working on a study of political motivations and how they affect editing. I'd like to ask you to take a survey. The survey should take no more than 1-2 minutes. Your survey responses will be kept private. Our project is documented at https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Research:Wikipedia_%2B_Politics.

Survey Link: http://uchicago.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9S3JByWf57fXEkR?Q_DL=56np5HpEZWkMlr7_9S3JByWf57fXEkR_MLRP_emv6TGpm4jjKD2J&Q_CHL=gl

I am asking you to participate in this study because you are a frequent editor of pages on Wikipedia that are of political interest. We would like to learn about your experiences in dealing with editors of different political orientations.

Sincere thanks for your help! Porteclefs (talk) 13:21, 7 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Deletion discussion about Glass (social network)

edit

Hello, Fletcher, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username Shushugah, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Glass (social network), should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Glass (social network).

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Shushugah}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!
