Welcome!

edit

Hi Everything Inane, and a warm welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you have enjoyed editing as much as I did so far and decide to stay. Unfamiliar with the features and workings of Wikipedia? Don't fret! Be Bold! Here's some good links for your reference and that'll get you started in no time!

Most Wikipedians would prefer to just work on articles of their own interest. But if you have some free time to spare, here are some open tasks that you may want to help out :

  • RC Patrol - Keeping a lookout for vandalism.
  • Cleanup - Help make unreadable articles readable.
  • Requests - Wanted on WP, but hasn't been created.
  • Merge - Combining duplicate articles into one.
  • Wikiprojects - So many to join, so many to choose from...Take your pick!

Oh yes, don't forget to sign when you write on talk pages, simply type four tildes, like this: ~~~~. This will automatically add your name and the time after your comments. And finally, if you have any questions or doubts, don't hesitate to contact me on my talk page. Once again, welcome! =)

Moving Barf bag

edit

I've fixed your move of Barf bag to Air sickness bag. In the future, please use the "move" functionality (there's tab at the top, next to history) instead of copy-and-pasting. This allows the history of the page to be preserved when it's moved. -- Plutor 14:33, 12 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Taxil

edit

Are you sure about that deletion? Everything I have seen reads that Taxil did intend harm to both Masonry and the RCC, so could you tell me your source so I can check it? MSJapan 00:00, 28 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

That's a good source I wasn't aware of. OK, I would do this, then: since as far as we know, most Masons believe Taxil was harmful (it would be interesting to see the RCC position on this as well), and there are many sources claiming this, it should probably not be taken out, but rather added to, something along the lines of "While Taxil claimed in his confession that his intent was not to harm Freemasonry, but rather to play a prank (footnote), many later Masonic scholars and writers felt otherwise(footnote)." and add in something about his confession in relation to the Church and the ACL as well. While it is chiefly of Masonic concern, Taxil affected more than just Masonry. MSJapan 17:54, 28 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Articles for deletion nomination of Airsickness bag

edit

I have nominated Airsickness bag, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Airsickness bag. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Mjpresson (talk) 03:50, 19 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
