As the title suggests, I'm creating this page as "neutral ground" to facilitate discussions in a (relatively) private setting. I hope to address the situation that exists between Zeraeph, A green Kiwi in learning mode, and Psychonaut, helping them to resolve their differences informally and (with luck) amicably. I've also invited Wizardry Dragon to participate as an interested party.

Obviously, participation here is completely voluntary and any results we might achieve are not actually binding in any way. The primary goal is simply to de-escalate an unfortunate situation between otherwise productive and valuable editors. A green Kiwi in learning mode 00:38, 31 October 2006 (UTC) I have absolutely zero grievance or concern. Zeraeph told me there was reason for what happened this weekend and take him as his word. So doing, I have already extended an apology for my contentiousness... but now, it occurs to me, only on Wizars's page, not his - must rectify that asap. And as for the policeman in a cloak, I am chuckling a great deal for I realize there has been a great mistaken identity problem. It can happen. No problem, no grudge. I feel that, although this page has been opened with the best of intentions, it will only serve to exacerbate a the situation that has already become far more personally involved than it needs to be.

I have no personal quarrel with anyone here, and I believe I have made my feelings on the issues as plain as I can on the relevant pages. From this point on I will confine my discussion to the issues on the relevant pages involved rather than personalities. If anyone has a problem with me then there are procedures that can be followed to resolve it and I recommend you to them.

I wish to commend A Kiwi for setting an example of fairness and objectivity in spite of past disputes and concurrent with a degree of, wholly objective, opposition on other issues and to thank the Doc for his ongoing good humor and good intentions. --Zeraeph 01:01, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

Mediation

Being under the objective observation and judgement of admins, I agree with Zeraeph's decision to take this out of the MfD talk page, where Psychonaut decided to move it. This is a fair place for all to present their perspectives, what they felt they were observing, and to then have to flesh out those impressions with specific examples. I hadn't thought that this "Neutal Room" you created could become a slaughterhouse - but upon futher thought, I have to concede that possibility. --A green Kiwi in learning mode 03:26, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
