May 2019 edit

Hello, I'm Girth Summit. I noticed that you recently removed content from Andy Secombe without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Your edits removed two references (from an article that was already pretty thin on supporting refs), and you didn't explain why, so I've reverted you for now - if you want to reinstate your edit, perhaps you could explain why the refs should go, or you could leave them in while adding your new content (ideally with some supporting refs for that). Hi again - further to this, you just removed a maintenance tag, with an edit summary of 'updating/clarifying' - I don't see a reason to remove that tag, the article has a lot of unsourced assertions in it and BLP applies here - please don't remove tags unless you're confident that they are no longer needed. Your account has been blocked from editing Wikipedia with this username. This is because your username, Arsebadger 1, does not meet our username policy.
Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below) and continue editing.
A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account.
You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:
  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} below. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "Email this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you think that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding {{unblock|Your reason here}} below this notice, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.

Here, you claim to be Andy Secombe. But here and here, you've been directly editing the article about you. Please note this is inappropriate; see WP:COI. Please let us know you understand, and that you'll avoid conflict-of-interest edits in the future. --Yamla (talk) 14:18, 31 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
