Problems with upload of File:Sura-release-date.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Sura-release-date.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for uploading File:4qCxd1qu.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Eeekster (talk) 19:49, 8 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

May 2011

This is your only warning; if you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced defamatory content into an article or any other Wikipedia page again, as you did at Asin, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. SQGibbon (talk) 20:21, 8 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for violating Wikipedia's policy on edits concerning living persons, including creating photoshopped porn images, posting said images and amending text to make it appear that the subject of the article had taken part in the creation of such images (see [1] [2] [3] and [4]). This is clearly not a good faith mistake, or a misguided attempt to improve the encyclopaedia, but a deliberate attempt to both create and insert false information which negatively affects a living person, and I cannot think that this makes you a net asset to the project.. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Note for reviewing admin: this is an administrator block, not an Arbcom block (at least at this stage) - I picked it up from WP:RD/M. If editor offers explanation or otherwise, please feel free to make your own decision as to unblock.Elen of the Roads (talk) 22:08, 8 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
