Hi Anne drew, thanks for starting this third RfC. It might be a good idea to add an option like Option 5 from the straw poll. I note that option is similar to what Bradv seemed to be proposing on the talk page. I also note there seemed to be support for an option like that in the straw poll. The specifics on the second sentence would need to be worked out, and it may be hard for folks to consider !voting for it without those specifics. Maybe not. Anyway, some food for thought. Hey Darryl. Isn't option 5 really just a variation of option 3? We have consensus for both "scandal" and "controversy" in the lead, so my assumption is that if option 3 wins, "scandal" will be used later in the lead (perhaps in the form suggested by option 5). Likewise if option 2 wins, "controversy" will be used later in the lead. – Anne drew 19:50, 17 July 2019 (UTC)

I took the liberty of fixing a broken link in your comment about the closing of Littleolive's RfC. When Safrolic renamed the section it broke all the links and unfortunately made it a bit confusing what people were talking about (at least to unfamiliar editors). I trust you don't mind.
