The 0000-00 Lancashire FA Challenge Trophy (currently known known as the Cooperatives Challenge Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the 000th since the competition's establishment in 1885. Twenty nine clubs entered the competition and it is currently sponsored by The Co-operative Group.

- Conference National (three club) - Accrington Stanley, Morecambe and Southport
- Conference North (three club) - Barrow A.F.C., Lancaster City and Leigh RMI
- Northern Premier League Premier Division (three clubs) - Burscough, Marine and Radcliffe Borough
- Northern Premier League First Division (six clubs) - Bamber Bridge, Chorley, Clitheroe, Fleetwood Town, Kendal Town and Rossendale United
- North West Counties Football League First Division (seven clubs) - Atherton Collieries, Atherton Laburnum Rovers, Bacup Borough, Colne, Ramsbottom United, Skelmersdale United and Squires Gate
- North West Counties Football League Second Division (seven clubs) - Blackpool Mechanics, Daisy Hill, Darwen, Great Harwood Town, Holker Old Boys, Nelson and Padiham
