The Nizami Brothers are an Indian musical group known for their performances of Sufi and cultural music. Current Members

  • Faizan Nizami: Main vocalist, began singing at age 6 and trained in classical and Sufi music.
  • Zeeshan Nizami: Second main vocalist, known for his high-pitched voice and energetic stage presence.
  • Khwaja Hasan Nizami: Third main vocalist, manages the group and possesses a strong memory for traditional Sufi poetry.

History

The Nizami Brothers claim descent from court singers of the Mughal emperors. Their musical lineage is traced back to the renowned vocalist Faiyaz Khan.

The group gained national recognition as finalists on season 8 of India's Got Talent. They are known for their blend of traditional Qawwali instruments like the tabla and dholki with modern keyboards and guitars, creating a unique and contemporary sound for Sufi music.
