The "Glamorous Big Four" (from left to right): Maria Sharapova, Ana Ivanovic, Svetlana Kuznetsova and Jelena Janković.

In tennis, the Glamorous WTA Big Four is the quartet of players Maria Sharapova, Ana Ivanovic, Svetlana Kuznetsova and Jelena Janković. Between them, they have won 66 WTA titles, seven Grand Slam titles and have spent 51 weeks as the World No. 1.

The quartet have never really dominated as a group, however, all four reached the quarter-finals of the 2007 French Open with all but Kuznetsova (who was defeated by Ivanovic in the quarter-finals) reaching the semi-finals, all but Kuznetsova reached the semi-finals of the 2008 Australian Open, all reached the semi-finals of the 2008 Pacific Life Open and all but Sharapova reached the semi-finals of the 2008 French Open.

Between the 2007 and 2008 Wimbledon Championships, they filled up positions two to five on the WTA standings, behind then-World No. 1 Justine Henin. Following Henin's retirement in May 2008, the quartet filled up the top four places in the standings, and would continue to do so until the end of the 2008 Wimbledon Championships.

However, they have also been held liable for the worst performance by any top four seeds at a Grand Slam tournament, whereby neither of them reached the quarter-finals at the 2008 Wimbledon Championships. Maria Sharapova was defeated in the second round, whilst recent French Open champion Ana Ivanovic was stunned in the third round. Jelena Janković and Svetlana Kuznetsova fell in the fourth round, and it was after these championships in which these four players would never really dominate as a group again.
