I am re-enabling this feature after being concerned that it might assist vandals to attack my work. Re-assured by conversation with [[User:TParis]] that this info can be found easily by other means, so no point in not having the monthly totals on display. (Jack G). 
The Opt-in (.js) file can be added and removed as necessary in future.
