Tulsi – Hamari Badi Sayani[1][2][3] (transl. Tulsi – Is Our Great Companion) is a 2024 Indian drama television series which was aired on Dangal on 1 July 2024 under the banner of Optimystix Entertainment. It replaced the television series Janani – AI Ki Kahani.[4][5][6] It stars Harithi Joshi, Aparna Dixit and Dishank Arora.[7][8]

Plot

Tulsi is a 6 year old girl and an orphan who lives at the colony in Mumbai under the care of Bunty and Kajri. She is a fearless and Intelligent and also helps people where she also befriends with Gamla as she also wishes to find her parents. Famous Businessman, Raghuveer Raichand who is the son of a wealthy women named Vimala lives with his wife, Janaki who gets suffered from an mental illness when her child, Vrinda gets lost after 5 years when she birth to her as she lives with a doll with a resemblance of her child as he also wishes to find their child.

Raghuveer's younger brother, Rakesh and his wife, Urmila whom always gets greedy to get the entire property and business and also the real twist is revealed that both Rakesh and Urmila where the mastermind behind of Vrinda's kidnap because it is finds out that they don't want to let Raghuveer to give the entire property and business under Vrinda's name as Urmila and Rakesh tries to sent Janaki to the mental asylum but Raghuveer stops them.

Raghuveer and Janaki meets Tulsi and develop a bond with them as Tulsi learns about their truth and they decided to help them to find their child. It is finally revealed, Tulsi is indeed Raghuveer and Janaki's daughter, Vrinda. Meanwhile, Tulsi meets Urmila and Rakesh and she fights with them as Urmila tries to harm Tulsi but Bunty and Kajri stops them. Rakesh and Urmila seeks vengeance and frames both Bunty and Kajri into a false case and gets arrested as Rakesh tries to kidnap her but Raghuveer saves her as Rakesh and Urmila brings a girl named, Chameli who is a daughter of a famous gangster named, Maala and they made both Raghuveer, Janaki and the entire family by believing that the girl is Vrinda as Chameli is a selfish and a greedy girl whom she wanted to become rich as both Urmila and Rakesh always supports her.

Raghuveer brings Tulsi inside the house but Vimala doesn't accepts her as she is being an orphan but however she is also unaware of Tulsi's truth as both Raghuveer and Janaki cares Tulsi which enrages both Urmila, Rakesh and Chameli and they both create problems and they tries to put the entire blame on Tulsi but Raghuveer and Janaki defends them. But however, Rakesh, Urmila and Chameli fakes their drama in which Vimala gives the entire property and business under Chameli / Fake Vrinda's name. Meanwhile, both Tulsi, Bunty, Kajri and Gamla learns about Chameli's truth when Chameli's uncle confesses her truth to them as Tulsi decided expose Chameli's truth as Raghuveer organises a DNA Test for Tulsi and Chameli as both Chameli, Urmila and Rakesh gets finds out this and destroys evidences in which Rakesh finds out Tulsi is Vrinda as he decided to hide the truth from the family.

Development and casting

The series was announced by Optimystix Entertainment on June 2024 and it was confirmed by Dangal TV.[9] As child actress, Harithi Joshi had signed to play the lead role while Aparna Dixit and Dishank Arora to play the supporting role for the show[10]

The Principal filmography was shooted on Mumbai, Maharashtra.
