Ways to help edit

As far as I can tell, the Party Summary template has successfully been added to all previous Congresses. I was looking for a way to help, so I started with the "to do list." Should that task be removed from the list? I'd like to be bold but I also don't want to overstep my bounds. Somanytictoc (talk) 03:36, 19 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

  • I created {{USCongress Party summary}} for two purposes: 1) a standard format among the 112+ ordinal Congresses; 2) a clear way for editors to change the numbers without having to know the intricate wiki markup of the table. I've added it in a couple dozen articles, but ran into a problem. As outlined in Template:USCongress Party summary/doc#Problems yet to solve there are many coding problems I can't fix. So I stopped there. Can you suggest any fixes?—Markles 12:52, 19 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
