how do we intend on handling this template now that the site is dead? Is there a way to integrate archive information into the citation entries? -MJ (talk) 22:52, 20 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

The site is not dead, nor have the pages on individual systems disappeared, but the latter have all been re-alphabetized by country-then-city (instead of just by city) and assigned new "ID" numbers. That means the old template here cannot simply be updated, because the ID numbers given on all of the individual WP article pages will now link to listings for the wrong city (because the city's ID no. has changed). The links must be manually updated at each individual WP page. I've just done a handful, but don't have time to do most. So far, the only way I know to find the new ID number for a given city is to go to this 'world map' page at the current Trolleymotion domain (it's in a drop-down menu under the "News" tab) and then either do a search or click on a country on the map, which will then produce a list of systems/cities for the selected country. – SJ Morg (talk) 10:48, 22 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
