Printworthy category edit

The Category:Printworthy redirects has been added to this Rcat. The WikiProject Redirect/Style guide has taken on the goal of categorizing all redirects either as Printworthy or Unprintworthy. These gender-type redirects are candidates for the Printworthy cat. – Paine Ellsworth ( CLIMAX )  09:03, 7 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Ran into a small problem. There are some gender redirects that are also unprintworthy plurals, such as Ball girls. With my first edit, this added such redirects to both the Printworthy and the Unprintworthy cats. I fixed that with some code that allows the choice by adding "unprintworthy" to the Rcat, like this...

{{R from gender|unprintworthy}}

I will add a /doc page to explain this, and I will add the "unprintworthy" choice to all of the existing unprintworthy gender plurals. – Paine Ellsworth ( CLIMAX )  10:25, 7 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Template:R from genderTemplate:R from gendered term – The current title, {{R from gender}}, was a little confusing to me - at first, the name suggested to me that this template might be for categorizing redirects from the name of a gender identity. I propose moving it to the more specific title {{R from gendered term}}, in order to clarify the purpose of this redirect template and remove the potential ambiguity.
