Half-life of EO74W179 Tungsten

edit

74W tungsten has 5 stable or almost stable consisting of the 4 EE isotopes 180, 182, 184, and 186, which are grouped around the also stable isotope EO74W183. However the stability profile of 74W tungsten is made irregular by the reported half-lifetime value of EO74W197 of only 38 minutes (log second =3.36). This is below the comparable half-lifes of the adjacent isotopes EO74W177 (2.21 hours) and EO74181 (121 days) and thus distorts the EO stability isotope profile of 74W tungsten.WFPM (talk) 05:26, 30 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Possible alpha decay of 179W and 181W

edit

According to [1], 179W and 181W should have a partial alpha decay half-life of least 1013 years and 1022 years. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.104.241.214 (talk) 15:04, 29 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
