How to highlight outdated information
editWhile editing Critical Path Institute I stumbled upon a |leader_title that was not updated since years. I think it would make sense to add a parameter such as |leader_asof where the date of last update could be indicated. This way, readers would be informed if the information could be obsolete. What are the practical difference between Template:Infobox organization and Template:Infobox organization/Wikidata?
It seems also the non-Wikidata variant can fetch entries from Wikidata, or at least the official URL.

Unknown parameters "leader_title5" and "leader_name5"

I was trying to set up this infobox on International Animated Film Association and I got a message that these two parameters are unknown. I copied the template from the documentation page, which does show these as valid parameters in the table - were these removed at some point and we need to update the documentation? - Those unsupported parameters were added to the documentation incorrectly in 2023 by Hossam Azab. Editors sometimes do this when they do not understand how templates implement parameters. I have removed them from the documentation. – Jonesey95 (talk) 13:40, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
