Usage
Use this template when a member of the Guild of Copy Editors copyedits an article.
The template is placed in the top section of the article's Talk page, below any WikiProject banners that are present. Copy and paste this example, which will automatically insert your user name and the current date:

Parameters
|user=
The name of the user who copyedited the article, without linking or including theUser:
prefix. Use{{subst:REVISIONUSER}}
to insert your user name.|date=
Leave{{subst:date}}
after|date=
, as in the example, to insert today's date, or type a full date (including the day of the month).|category=
SHOULD NOT NORMALLY BE USED Answer "no" to prevent the page from appearing in Category:Articles copy edited by the Guild of Copy Editors (usually when the template is being used as an example).
Parameters for old copyedits
If an article has received more than one copyedit, the following parameters can be used to note older copyedits (banner will support a maximum of five old copyedits):
|old-user-1=
As above, the name of the user who copyedited the article, without linking or including theUser:
prefix.|old-date-1=
As above, the date that the copyedit was completed.
Repeat as necessary with |old-user-2=
, |old-date-2=
etc.
