The result of the move request was: page moved per discussion. Requester has adequately shown that there is a common name well established in English-language sources, and that the name is "Adana Conference". - GTBacchus(talk) 23:00, 10 August 2011 (UTC)

- Oppose Both Yenice and Adana are the names of places. The meeting was held in Yenice and the name of the meeting is accordingly Yenice Meeting. Yenice is not (and was not) a part of Adana and as pointed out in the Triva section, the name Adana appears because the airport was in Adana. Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 09:47, 30 July 2011 (UTC)
- As you know, this event is always known as Adana Conference or Adana Meeting. Even İsmet's son Erdal İnönü wrote in his memories Anılar ve Düşünceler:
I know that Tarsus including the town of Yenice became a part of Sanjak of Adana (of Aleppo Vilayet) in 1867, and then of Sanjak of Adana (of Adana Vilayet) in 1877. Mersin became a vilayet in 1924, was integrated with İçel vilayet (capital: Silifke) in 1933. But I don't know why this event is known as Adana Conference or Adana Meeting. We cannot change Arab, Alabama to Arad, Alabama :)) Please read Wikipedia:No original research. Takabeg (talk) 10:43, 30 July 2011 (UTC)
Even in Turkish language, Yenice görüşmesi, Yenice mülakatı is not common name.

According to Hilmi Uran,

- Support. According to the Wikipedia:Naming conventions (events) "If there is an established, universally agreed-upon common name for an event, use that name." In this case it is obvious that "established, universally agreed-upon common name" for this event is Adana Conference. --Antidiskriminator (talk) 14:06, 4 August 2011 (UTC)
- Comment According to WP: Titles:If there are too few English-language sources to constitute an established usage, follow the conventions of the language appropriate to the subject. In this case total no of usage in English is far too few (6 at most) So English uasage is not a creteria for moving. Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 18:46, 5 August 2011 (UTC)
- What ? We can find "English-language sources" at least 68 only in Google books. Takabeg (talk) 03:43, 8 August 2011 (UTC)
