Title? edit

I'm not convinced that the current article title is the best. I wonder if an alternative might be more useful:

  • Willie McIntyre

The second is how the subject's name is occasionally presented, presumably as a customary name in general use, and the first addresses notability. Crime novelists with a long publication history and a series totalling thirteen novels, on the other hand… --Pete (talk) 22:05, 24 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

William H S McIntyreWilliam McIntyre (novelist) – He does not publish under a name with initials (but he's not the only person by this name who could be considered a writer/author, but he is the only novelist among them). If this were not moved to William McIntyre (novelist), then it would need to move to William H. S. McIntyre, per MOS:INITIALS.  — SMcCandlish ¢ 😼  12:29, 21 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
