I think the school stopped flying the British flag and singing the British National Anthem a number of years ago

Nope, the National Anthem is still sung on special occasions, though the flag is rarely flown

the flag hasn't been flown for years, wasn't flown on Rememberance Day even. As far as I remember (class of 2005) the National Anthem wasn't played/sung during my final two years

New Name

edit

I am changing the name of this article to "The Wallace High School (northern Ireland)", I am adding the word "the" into the title as this is what the school has done - see their website for verification of this fact. http://www.wallacehigh.org/ —Preceding unsigned comment added by BadmanfromJamaica (talkcontribs) 17:58, 1 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

2012 banner incident

edit

This report refers to an incident in which a banner was displayed on the school as an end of term prank. There is no evidence of any lasting significance, and the material that IPs are attempting to add to the article grossly inflates its importance as well as going well beyond what was reported. There is no encyclopedic value in including any mention of this incident in the article. Ghmyrtle (talk) 17:06, 28 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
