Turnout Statistics/Measuring Turnout

edit

I've just added some info to the beginning of this section, to make clear what the VEP and VAP are. I am doing some work on this article as part of a Wiki Education course for Scholars.

I think this section should actually be at the beginning of the article. I would also like to remove the discussion of the Bipartisan Policy Center under the table. The BPC report has different numbers than other sources because it is published only two days after the election. While it is very valuable that BPC and others produce estimates of turnout right after the election when interest is high, it's not necessary to point out those differences long after. Since 1932?

edit

This has data going much further back. Jmj713 (talk) 22:50, 28 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thanks -- I'm not quite sure why the person who created the table only included the data they included. I think it would be good to make it more complete. If anyone would like to work on that, I think that would be great. I 'm new to Wikipedia editing, so I won't be able to tackle that for a while. Margaretbx (talk) 17:15, 29 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
