I changed "provost, fellows and scholars of the University" to "Provost, Fellows and Scholars of Trinity College". The provost, fellows and scholars are of the College. I think the corporate designation of the University is the Chancellor, Doctors and Masters of the University of Dublin. I think.

In response to the above, by a person who did not sign the note, I recently found a nineteenth century source. It provides a list of the persons qualified to vote before 1832. --Gary J (talk) 10:25, 17 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Title of constituency

edit

For the title of constituency as Dublin University, see Electoral Act 1923, Seanad Electoral (University Members) Act 1937 and Government of Ireland Act 1920. Iveagh Gardens (talk) 18:37, 8 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
