The Toto are one of the world's smallest indigenous ethnic groups, living on the India's border with Bhutan

edit

"The entire population of one of the world’s smallest indigenous groups, the Toto, live in a village on the India-Bhutan border."

  • In particular observe [this quote] from : "Nearly 22 km from Madarihat in Alipurduar district, the Totos of Totopara have been fighting a silent war to keep their language, identity and culture alive."

Im thinking this could be related to immigration (for lack of a better word) or ethnic mixing by both pregnacny and culturally; even if well intentioned. I've thought of a good way to introduce and fit in the idea in one sentence really well with the start being ";controversially," right after your edit but I'm holding off for now. I don't know enough or anything about this subject, hence the importance of the "may" in my planed edit. There are also political baggage to this idea and sentiment I want to keep seperated from the objective facts, not to mention the insane backlash some people will do with such bias.
Worth mentioning that this would be my second contribution to Wikipedia other than my first (Yay!) being a ficture of awkward structure on this article. 2A00:23C6:9390:1701:6B78:AE2C:808B:EFFB (talk) 01:46, 4 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
